  • Church Picnic

    What do sack races, tug-of-wars, water-balloon volleyball, and the candy man all have in common.  They're all part of our church picnic fun!  All of this is combined with a huge barbeque supper!  This afternoon picnic involving our whole church family is also a great event to invite other friends to who aren’t a part of a church community.  Of course it’s a very informal setting, involving a lot of very casual circles of visiting and fellowship, combined with some really awesome games for our kids. In order to have food for everyone attending, we invite people to contribute either a dessert or a salad.  Burgers, hot dogs and drinks are provided by the church.

  • Community Garage Sale

    Don't forget to come on out to the Community Garage Sale in our church parking lot on June 4th in order to mingle with members of our community who are participating, as well as to get in on some of the many great deals to be found.  Your participation is really important, and will be an encouragement to those who have planned and prepared for this event over the past few months!

    Would you like to get to know Calvary's new Worship Arts Pastor and Children's Ministry Pastor, Ben & Krista Ewert, and their family a bit better? Please join us for a meet & greet BBQ at Malcolm & Krista Scott’s home. Bring picnic blankets/lawn chairs. The Leadership Team will be serving up some tasty fixin’s!   • Parents and Tots

    Parents and Tots is an open group that meets at the church every Tuesday as a means to connect, share experiences, support one another, and build community. Come spend time playing with toys and enjoying refreshments and conversation. Come when you can, leave when you need to.

  • Young Adult Special Event

    We’re trying something new!  We all like food, right?  We’ll be heading over to Simply Supper to learn about and make some healthy but fun meals. Simply Supper is an Edmonton business that has various meal prep stations in which you can prep 6 different meals.  During these times you will learn about the food, learn a few tricks, and do all of this with a great community.  There is limited space for this event so sign up fast!   • Young Adult Ski Day

    Last year’s ski trip was EPIC!  This year we’ll be headed to Marmot Basin in Jasper!  The bus will depart from the Ramada Inn in Edmonton at 5:30 a.m. sharp (returning at 9 p.m. that evening).  Cost is $149.00 (includes lift ticket and transportation to/from Marmot Basin); students pay $139.00; transport only is $119.00.  Everyone is responsible for booking their own ticket at http://www.magicbus.ca.  The sooner you book, the better, as the bus will fill up quickly with bookings from other groups of people (be sure to pick the correct date and destination).  Contact Pastor Matt or Barbara Winzeler (780-999-4550) for more details!

  • All Newcomers to Calvary!

Our Staff and Leadership Team are inviting all Calvary newcomers over the past half year or so to a luncheon right after our morning services.  This is an opportunity to enjoy some great fellowship together, good food and a chance to discover more about your church and the opportunities for getting connected into our church community.
