It will be a time for reviewing Ministry Reports, as well as discussing various initiatives for the coming year at Calvary. Please mark this date on your calendar and plan to attend!
In order to continue to respond to the needs of our world, Calvary is considering sponsoring another family from Syria. An information meeting is being held to see if we can sponsor a 2nd family from war torn Syria. If you sense this is something you would like to enquire more about, please come to this meeting (11207 – 94 St.). Dinner will be provided.
During the 2nd service there will be a youth parents meeting downstairs. Plan on coming down to listen to what has been going on during our times that we meet up with your kids, and bring your questions.
Whether you’re a long-term member of our music teams or just curious about Calvary’s worship ministry, you’re invited to join us for this lunch right after the 2nd service. We’ll be looking at some goals for the upcoming year and discussing some of where we are as a ministry. Hope you can make it!

Calvary’s Leadership Team will be hosting a short Members Meeting between our Sunday services on February 7 in order to request the approval of our membership for the set-up of a trust fund needed for the refugee family coming into our care shortly. We are asking all members to attend this meeting in order to hear this presentation and participate in a vote. Please talk to Bill Moulton or Geoff John-West if you have any questions concerning this.
All interested people are invited to Geoff & Liz’s home for another planning meeting, as we prepare for the arrival of our refugee family. At this next meeting, we will be discussing: 1) expectations; 2) management of funds; 3) assimilation; and 4) budget. There will also be some brainstorming time. Please come for dinner at 6:00 p.m. and a good time of interaction prior to our meeting.
