The following core values are intended to bring GROWTH into the life of every follower of Jesus attending Calvary Home Groups. They include:
G – God’s Word – - God speaks to us through His Word, and as we apply the principles of God’s Word to our lives, we should expect to be transformed.
R – Relationship – - By taking time to invest ourselves in others, we grow in our ability to walk alongside each other in the circumstances of our lives, and we share meaningful life lessons.
O – Openness – - By being vulnerable with each other, people can more easily relate to our joys and struggles, trust is built, and we empower people to use their gifts to meet our needs.
W – Waiting on God – - More than sharing our personal and corporate requests with God, prayer is taking time to wait on Him to listen for the things that are on His heart.
T – Teachability - – Teachability acknowledges that there is much we can learn from God’s Word and each other, and is expressed by the way in which we yield ourselves to truth.
H – Hospitality – - Hospitality is love in action, expressing intentional care to everyone who needs to see love and claims of Christ in practical and tangible ways.
